Sunfish 5

Issue 5 of Sunfish magazine recently out, A4 format, 40 pages, with work by:

Charles Stein – 4 poems from the forthcoming collection “From Mimir’s Head” by this American poet, Olson scholar and Homer translator
Phil Davenport – “pollinators of eden”, a 10-page poem combining text and drawings
Carrie Etter – 6 poems, including 4 from her ongoing “Divining for Starters” series
sean burn – “bastilles englan”, a poem for multiple voices from this UK writer who was shortlisted for a Michael Marks award for his visual poetry collection “mo thunder”
Alec Finlay – 2 poems from his ongoing project “the road north”
Amanda Earl – 5 prose poems extracted from a larger sequence by this Canadian writer (in what I think is her first UK publication)
Sunfish costs £4 (+ £1 p&p in the UK) and can be ordered via Paypal

testo della bandella di “1,6,7″, di Giuliano Mesa (La camera verde, 2007)

l’architettura di 1, 6, 7 è – in qualche modo – a ponti aggettanti : un primo testo si proietta sulla sequenza di sei, il cui settimo brano è anche l’intera serie conclusiva (di sette poesie). questo, per due volte. il libro vive tanto della propria struttura matematica (ogni numero dona e riceve necessità dal/al seguente-successivo) quanto della sua proiezione in necessità sonora, che è pienamente semantica. gli attriti sillabici sono senso.

la vicenda testuale sembra non organizzare racconto. non è così. è proprio da una noce/chiusura narrante – indice e vettore poi di mito – che tutto prende avvio: da Celan, Phlebas-Tiresia fatto muto dall’acqua, in acqua scomparso, andato, in cammino. il suo fluttuare cieco – necroglossia, luce – è il testo.

le sette e poi sette onde sequenziali del testo di Mesa portano la voce dell’indovino – la sua totale chiarezza di sguardo – a insistere su forma e nome del dolore, sul segno inflitto alla materia. riaffiorante,  gettato, spento, non spento. infine la morte è linguaggio. (qualcuno ascolta). (e, anche, decifra l’identità del naufrago).

il “taci” non è esortazione al buio ma semmai chiusura-inizio della parola iterante, non orante, semmai oracolare in quanto non si nega sguardo e testo. come ogni interrotto/riavviato necessario nastro di Beckett dètta.

In un altro momento

In un altro momento storico, la letteratura non dava (la sceneggiatura di) immagini già viste. Era cioè cosciente di avere territorio e margine (addirittura uno statuto suo, specifico) che le dicevano di non avere a che fare con il déjà vu spettacolare.

Produceva perfino enigma.

Dunque i quattro libri: della casa, della clinica, e della casa/clinica, ovvero La casa esposta, Shelter, Criterio dei vetri, e Storia dei minuti, sono produzione di enigma, anche; e soprattutto sono interamente dalla parte (e prendono le parti) degli offesi, degli imprigionati, delle vittime:

1) entro una codifica di dati oggettivi riferibili e riportabili, e quindi

2) lavorando per ombre, e per allegorie sì, ma allegorie cave, e quindi

3) senza ‘mettere in scena’ (=in forma di spettacolo, narrato) le vittime.

Sono dunque il contrario di una cronaca, e il contrario di un romanzo. Il contrario di quei romanzi-(da-)cronaca che fanno la fortuna delle case editrici attente a causare=soddisfare il prurito dello spettatore generalista.
